This research project involved developing methods to perform regionalized LCA studies and performing RLCA for comparison of potential green technology options for egg farms in Canada. This was achieved by producing site-suitability maps and site-specific green technology deployment considerations such as solar and wind energy potential, electricity grid and existing waste valorization infrastructure, using data collected as part of the life cycle inventory phase and GIS.
