Currently, the poultry industry by-products are recognized as an abundant source of natural proteins and lipids which can be used to develop novel materials for different high-end applications. Spent hens and poultry feathers are considered as a waste by-product because their existing uses are economically marginal and they contribute to environmental pollution due to the disposal problems. This talk will provide a comprehensive overview of byproduct utilization and sustainable solutions using a circular economy concept with large economic and environmental benefits
